CJC-1295 research peptide. Lyophilized powder, ≥99% purity by HPLC. For research use only.
CJC-1295 No DAC, also known as Mod GRF 1-29 or modified GRF (1-29), is a synthetic GHRH analogue. It is based on the first 29 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone – the shortest fragment of GHRH that still retains full receptor activity.
Virexa Labs supplies CJC-1295 without DAC as a lyophilised research peptide for in-vitro laboratory research only. It is not intended for human or veterinary use.
Native GRF (1-29) breaks down within minutes. Mod GRF 1-29 is a tetrasubstituted analogue: four amino acids are replaced (D-Ala at position 2, Gln at 8, Ala at 15 and Leu at 27) to make the peptide more resistant to enzymatic cleavage and oxidation, while preserving its affinity for the GHRH receptor.
The difference from CJC-1295 with DAC lies in the Drug Affinity Complex. The DAC version carries an extra lysine with a reactive group that binds covalently to albumin in the blood, greatly extending its half-life. The version without DAC lacks this, so it has a short half-life. In research this is relevant because a short-acting signal more closely resembles the natural, pulsatile release pattern of GHRH.
CJC-1295 No DAC is studied in models of:
Store lyophilised CJC-1295 No DAC at −20 °C, dry and dark (2–8 °C short term). Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, added slowly along the vial wall, and swirl gently until dissolved – do not shake. Keep the solution at 2–8 °C, use within about 4 weeks and avoid freeze–thaw cycles.
Each batch is tested by HPLC (≥99% purity) and mass spectrometry; the COA is shown on this page. If you want to buy CJC-1295 No DAC for research, you can order it directly here.
CJC-1295 No DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) is a tetrasubstituted analogue of the first 29 amino acids of GHRH. It is a research peptide used in studies of the GHRH receptor.
The DAC version contains a Drug Affinity Complex that binds to albumin, giving it a much longer half-life. The version without DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) has a short half-life and is studied as a model of pulsatile GHRH signalling.
CJC-1295 is a GHRH analogue that acts on the GHRH receptor; Ipamorelin is a ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) agonist. They work through two different receptors.
