Research peptides for neuro and cognitive studies: Semax (an ACTH(4-10) analogue), Selank (a tuftsin analogue) and VIP. ≥99% purity with COA, for laboratory research use only.

Cognitive and neuro research peptides

This category contains research peptides studied in neuroscience: models of neuroprotection, neuropeptide signalling and the interplay between the nervous and immune systems. Buy cognitive research peptides such as Semax, Selank and VIP with ≥99% HPLC purity, mass-spec identity and a COA on every product page.

All products are for laboratory research use only – not for human or veterinary use.

Semax, Selank and VIP

Semax is a synthetic analogue of the ACTH(4-10) fragment, extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro sequence for greater stability. It was developed in Russia and is studied in animal models of neuroprotection and of the expression of neurotrophic factors such as BDNF.

Selank is a synthetic analogue of tuftsin, a naturally occurring immunomodulatory tetrapeptide, likewise extended with Pro-Gly-Pro. It is studied in neurological and immunological research models.

VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) is a 28-amino-acid neuropeptide that acts via the VPAC1 and VPAC2 receptors. It is studied in research on neuro-immune signalling, circadian rhythms and vascular and gut physiology.

Storage and shipping

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Semax and Selank?

Semax is derived from the ACTH(4-10) fragment, Selank from the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin. Both carry a Pro-Gly-Pro extension for stability and are studied in different neurological research models.

Are Semax and Selank medicines or supplements?

No. The products we sell are research reagents for laboratory use only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, and we do not provide dosing information.

How should I store cognitive research peptides?

Store the powder dark and dry at 2–8 °C, or at −20 °C for longer storage. After reconstitution, keep the solution at 2–8 °C.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Orders are shipped in neutral packaging from Belgium and Germany.
